I like to bake and I do it as often as I can! Raspberry caves are really delicious and easy to make too! I wanted to show you my little white tablecloth with red hearts but it seems to have vanished, I can't find it anywhere. Oh well, hope it shows up soonish. Today we are going swimming with a friend and I thought that it would be nice to bring some cookies along and also bring some for my classmates tomorrow! Hugs and have a nice weekend!

New Wave!
When we were in Spain I saw that they had a sale on New Wave plates and other items from Villeroy Boch that I've wanted to buy for many years! Luckily my Dad was going up to Sweden so he brought everything with him, really kind! This is what they look like, I really like the simplicity, the sleekness and the shape of the plates. Have a nice Sunday!

Pretty in pink!
We've got quite a small kitchen table and there isn't room for that many people but it is no doubt very practical to have in the kitchen and when it is only us we almost always eat there. If we have family or friends over we always sit at the diningroom table. But cake and cookies can easily be had at the small table. A touch of pink cheers things up too. And homemade cookies are YUMMY! Have a great weekend!

A cute little tablecloth!
Pic borrowed from Countrystyle.
This cute little tablecloth I've wanted to buy for a long time but I do think that I can't just buy things all the time. Up until now I've mostly bought things that we've needed since we didn't bring anything else besides a bag each when we went back. But then I saw this cute tablecloth on sale and I just had to buy it ofcourse. Cute eh? I'm studying as much as I can at the moment and it feels like I have no time at all for anything else. I'm preparing for my last oral exam which will take place on Monday and then I am going to enjoy summer!

Cute little bowls...
I've been on the lookout for a few new breakfast bowls but I haven't found any. And then lo and behold these just popped up when I was surfing one day and I immediately knew that these were perfect! Small, cute and perfect for brekfast or fruit salad and various other things. Have a great week!

Finally...
Pic borrowed from Inreda.com.
I've finally found the lamp that I want to have in our staircase! I saw it a few years ago and was immediately entranced by its somber delicacy. At that time I thought it was too long for our staircase but now I see that there is a smaller, shorter version and that would be perfect! The only problem is... how are we going to be able to hang it up? Today we are having A's birthday party and he is ever so excited! We are all looking forward to it! Have a great weekend!

Decorating our chairs!
My husband thought that surely we should change the cushions on our chairs since the ones we had were a bit christmassy?! Being as clever as he is he knows that he has to find something even better than the ones we already have if I am going to fall for them. Rest assured, Susanne will happily comply when it comes to the beige ones with tiny white stars on them, hehe! I hope that you are enjoying a lovely spring, just like us!

Hehe I forgot a few things...
Hehe a few Christmas thingies managed to evade when I put all the other stuff away! I had totally forgotten my Christmas sheets plus to small Christmas hearts and a star. But now I think everything has been put away! Have a lovely snowy Sunday and a great week!

A cute little dish!
February has arrived and we have reluctantly removed Christmas from our house. I love the coziness of all the Advent candle sticks and the stars that light up the darkness. Outside the ground is covered in snow and that also brightens up beautifully! Everywhere I see turquoise but I'm not convinced yet, as per usual. It usually takes a while for me to adapt to les noveautés. So at our house there are a few light pink highlights and the cow has once again taken its place where our Christmas tree stood. This little dish comes from Bruka and I happened to stumble upon it before Christmas sometime. Many of their items are simple and somber just like many items from Himla! The cushion is from Himla and the pot-holders (the best quality!) my dear Mom made for us! I've studied a lot lately both at home and away and this wednesday I will sit the exam and I will be very happy once it is done! I hope that 2010 has started off well for all of you!

Our livingroom!
I really like the layout of this house, I like the way it's all light and bright, the white walls, the wooden floor, the freshness, the white cupboards, that it's perfect in size, a cute little garden, lovely neighbors, that A can play outside without us having to worry about cars and the close vicinity of the city! It's absolutely perfect! We love living here! Here are a few pics from our livingroom all christmassy! I would have loved a picture with a dark red Poinsettia on it but that will have to wait for a while. Here's also a pic of our wallwords on the wall next to our diningroom table. Have a great weekend!

Advent!
It's all cozy and snuggly now that we've got our advent candlesticks out and also the star and a heart! A cute little Christmas lantern sits outside our front porch as well. I love all the red against the white and a few decorations are up too. One or two Christmas gifts have been bought during the year but a few still need to be found. We are also going to visit a Christmas market! I've studied a lot lately, maybe a little too much since I was getting headaches again but I passed one of the exams (60/60, yay!!) and two remain and then it's Christmas! Mom, Dad and my brother Hans are coming to celebrate Christmas here with us at our place and I'm sooo looking forward to it! Have a great Advent and a nice coming week!
